Malden - The Malden Taxpayers for Accountability will be selling Trash Tax Buttons to raise funds for the ballot question campaign. They expect to be on the ballot on Election Day, Nov. 3.
The petition to put the issue back on the ballot now has another 308 signatures, which brings the total count to the 5,114-signature mark or 18.3 percent of the electorate.
The suggested cost of the button is the price of two of the $2 tax bags and a $1 tax bag, which is $5. Or the maximum cost of the larger bag, which is $2.
